📌 Its polymorphism includes soutenite and possibly a high-P phase analogs within the protocunnamite group, though Pallaturated strictly belongs to the pallaturated-pushanite branch. Mechanical rigidity and chemical sensitivity to dehydration and cation substitution make it a geobarometer and premise indicator of arc-related subduction metamorphism.
